Brigantines were used as body armor as early as the 13th century.
Materials: Natural leather with brass
Suede with 3.5 cm thick armor leather plates
• Thick leather 9-10 oz / 3mm to 4mm
• Leather 5-6 oz / 2mm
• Brass-plated antique eyelets, rivets, and buckles
